Georgetown’s Art Attack: Hot Rod Hearts on Hot Summer Nights

Rev your engines and cruise the historic Airport Way strip for another fun-packed summer evening in Georgetown, as we celebrate the arts as no other neighborhood can with our Georgetown Art Attack art walk on Saturday, August 11th! So many sights to see this month, so much tantalizing food to eat, so much brew to drink, you’d better simply keep the clutch in first gear, keep the top down, and enjoy the ride.

All City Coffee is pleased to present “Salt”, mixed media collages by Caudled Milk.

A Dog’s Dream will be showcasing the beautiful stained glass flowers by Kyle Shumaker.

Calamity Jane’s features funky poppy and entertaining collage work of  Marty Gordon.

Equinox Studios will have the following studios open: Karl Seng: recycled materials transformed into lamps. Sarah Woodson: wheel thrown pottery, witty mugs. Dan Morgan: woodworking and cabinetry. Betty Jo Costanzo: new work: acrylic painting of video captures of water. Syd Shera: paint your own tile, large ceramic flowers. John Kerschenbaum: woodworking, new work: secret drawer dressers. Gini Lawson: oil painting, new work: “Surf and Sand.” Steve & Sherry Hussey of BSI: fabricating a large metal sculpture during artwalk. Tamara Clammer: leather masks, new masks with EL wires and goggles.

Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery hosts “Game Over”, a show of failed video games based on popular alternative comic books.

The Firm hosts “Connected”, new work by Wynne Pei and Laura Wright.

Fonda La Catrina is featuring the work of Steve Roumas.

Georgetown Atelier hosts Draw Attack!, a free, fun art jam with a costumed Neo-Victorian Lady Adventurer. Come draw with us!

Georgetown Trailer Park Mall Garden Party at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall! Seattle’s only Trailer Park Market, featuring local art, vintage finds and live music!

Hallava Falafel features work from Alix, with CapsNscraps: jewelry and more made from recycled bottle caps.

Krab Jab Studio presents “The Art of Roleplaying Games”, a group show featuring RPG art by fantasy artists such as Todd Lockwood, Melissa A. Benson, Liz Danforth, RK Post, Brian Snoddy, Mark Tedin, Julie Baroh, Rob Alexander, Heather Hudson, Daniel Gelon, Samuel Araya, Janelle Jaquays, Jeremy Jarvis, Lee Moyer, Aaron McDonnell, Anthony Waters, Michael L.
